Photography for me is, and always has been, an art form. I am intrigued by what can be captured at that frozen moment in time when the shutter clicks.
I grew up in Western New York and currently live in Geneseo. After high school I went to work full time at my father's graphic art design and printing company in Rochester. I was involved in all aspects of the business doing everything from pre-press work, pressman, art department board artist and darkroom supervisor. I switched careers in 1978 to Law Enforcement but stayed involved with photography, keeping up to date with the changes in technology applying techniques from my film days to the new digital equipment. After 30 years at the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office I retired and now I’m back to photography shooting landscapes, events, portraits, weddings and businesses. Some of my clients are Envy Salon, David Mann Jewelers, Hoselton Auto Mall, Hurricane Technologies, The Village Tavern and the United Way of Livingston County. My photographs have been published in The Livingston County Tourism Visitors Guide, New York State "I Love Fresh Air" and Life in the Finger Lakes magazines, Geneseo Tourism Brochure, The Rochester Democrat and Chronicle, The Livingston County News and The Genesee Sun.
Thanks for visiting and please feel free to contact me about how my work can be a part of your life whether it's a print to to make a space special or capturing your own frozen moment in time.
